Home Remedies of Allergy

 1. Allergies Treatment using Nutrients:
Certain nutrients have been found beneficial in the prevention and treatment of allergies. Often the intake of vitamin B5 or pantothenic acid brings great relief to the sufferer. This vitamin may be taken in a dose of 100 mg daily for a month. In such cases, liberal amounts of pantothenic acid help even though the recovery takes several weeks. A dose of 400 mg of vitamin E taken daily for four to six weeks is also beneficial as this vitamin possesses effective anti-allergic properties.
2.Allergies Treatment using Castor Oil:
It is found that five drops of castor oil added to half a cup of water or any fruit or vegetable juice, if consumed on an empty stomach each morning, can be beneficial for various allergic reactions that affect the intestinal tract, skin, and nasal passages.
3. Allergies Treatment using Lime :
Lime is considered an effective remedy for any kind of allergy. Half a lime may be squeezed in a glass of lukewarm water and sweetened with a teaspoon of honey. It can be taken once daily first thing in the morning for several months. This remedy not only flushes the system of toxins but also acts as an antitoxic and antiallergic agent.
4. Allergies Treatment using Vegetable Juices :
A quantity of 500 ml carrot juice or a combination of carrot juice with beet and cucumber juices, has been found beneficial in the treatment of allergies. 100 ml each of beet and cucumber juices should be mixed with 300 ml of carrot juice to prepare 500 ml or half a litre of mixed juice. This should be consumed at least once a day

Home Remedies For Diabetis

Home Remedies for Diabetes :
Diabetes brings along with it many complications and affects the functioning of our vital organs. In the initial stages itself, care should be taken to keep our blood sugar levels normal. Regular blood checkups should be carried out and the necessary precautions should be followed diligently.
Some changes in your lifestyle needs to be made when you are suffering from heart disease and diabetes. There are many home remedies that can help you ease the discomforts that you may experience when you are a diabetic.
Home Remedies
Here are some tips and home remedies that will benefit you if you are a diabetic:
1. Go Slow on Sauces and Salad Dressings: Salad dressings and sauces contain loads of sugar, fat, and cholesterol. You may unknowingly be consuming a lot of these when you pour them on your dishes. To avoid this, just pour a little salad dressing or sauce on the side. Dip your fork in this and pick your food. This will give you the flavor and taste without you consuming excess of it.
2. Bitter Gourd Juice: Drink the juice of a small bitter gourd (ghiya/lauki) with added water every morning. This is one of the best remedies to bring down your blood sugar.
3. Fenugreek (Methi): Soak some fenugreek seeds in water overnight. In the morning, drink the liquid as well as gulp down the seeds. This lowers your blood sugar level as well as provides you with the much-needed fiber.
4. Walk: Walking is a good exercise both to prevent and cure diabetes.
• If your fasting blood sugar is high, walking 15 to 20 minutes in the evening is helpful in bringing down your sugar levels.
• If your postprandial blood sugar is high, take a medium-paced walk after every meal.
5. Low Salt: Most of the time, high blood pressure is seen to coexist with diabetes, therefore, your meals should have very less salt. Resist the temptation of adding table salt to your food. Do not keep salt on the table. It is easier to drive things out of your mind when they are out of sight. Fill your salt shaker with some flavorsome herbs. This is a low-sodium way of making your dishes tasty.
6. Apple Cider Vinegar: It is seen that people who have diabetes often experience muscle cramps in the legs. To get relief from this, pour 8 ounces (236 ml) of apple cider vinegar in a tub of hot water and soak in this for about 15 minutes.
7. Asparagus: Steam asparagus and drizzle some olive oil and lemon juice and eat. Asparagus is a mild diuretic agent, which will help control diabetes.
8. Watercress: This has diuretic properties and it helps in strengthening the body's immune system.
9. Fresh Mango Leaves: Boil some fresh mango leaves in water at night. In the morning, filter and drink on an empty stomach. Drinking this daily helps with curing diabetes.
10. Cinnamon (Dalchini): Boil one liter of water with three tablespoons of cinnamon and drink this water.
11. Fishberry: Soak some crushed fishberry in water for a day. Drink this solution on an empty stomach in the morning.
12. Black Berries: Powder some black berry seeds (Jamun) and have this regularly. Eating fresh black berries also helps in controlling diabetes.
13. Curry Leaves: Chewing a few curry leaves in the morning every day helps in the treatment of diabetes.
14. Gooseberry: Mix some turmeric powder with Indian gooseberry powder. Take this on an empty stomach to get relief from diabetes.
15. Lime Water: Drink a glass of lime water in the morning. This helps in reducing diabetes. Lime water also boosts the immune system.
16. Salted Buttermilk: Drinking some salted buttermilk helps in reducing the blood sugar levels. If you have hypertension, go slow on the amount of salt.
17. Tomato Juice: You can either eat raw tomatoes or drink tomato juice to help reduce diabetes.
18. Sadabahar (Vinca rosea): This comes to your rescue when your blood sugar shoots up. Boil one glass of water. Immerse 3 flowers of Sadabahar in half of that water and let it stay for 5 minutes. Take out the flowers and drink the water. Then drink the remaining half glass of boiled water. This, when done continuously for 7 days, helps in bringing down your blood sugar levels.
19. Sea Salt Soak: When you have diabetes, you tend to have very dry, itchy skin. This can be relieved by soaking in a hot bath to which some table salt or sea salt has been dissolved. Your skin will feel soft to touch as well as the hot soak will relax you.
When you have diabetes, taking care of your eyes, skin, and foot becomes very important. Regular eye checkups are a must. Also, eating at regular intervals becomes more important than before. Equipments that help you monitor your blood sugar levels at home would be beneficial for timely regularization of the initial stages itself, care should be taken to keep our blood sugar levels normal. Regular blood checkups should be carried out and the necessary precautions should be followed diligently.

Papayas contain soft, easily digestible flesh with a good amount of soluble dietary fiber that helps to have normal bowel movements; thereby reducing constipation.
Fresh, ripe fruit is one of the fruits with the highest vitamin-C content (provides 61.8 mg or about 103% of DRI, more than that of in oranges, or lemons). Research studies have shown that vitamin C has many important functions like free radicals scavenging, immune booster, and anti-inflammatory actions.
It is also an excellent source of Vitamin-A (provides 1094 IU/100 g) and flavonoids like β-carotene, lutein, zea-xanthin and cryptoxanthin. Vitamin A is required for maintaining healthy mucus membranes and skin and is essential for visual sight. These compounds are known to have antioxidant properties; help act as protective scavengers against oxygen-derived free radicals and reactive oxygen species (ROS) that play a role in aging and various disease processes. Consumption of natural fruits rich in carotenes has known to protect the body from lung and oral cavity cancers.
Papaya fruit is also rich in many essential B-complex vitamins such as Folic acid, pyridoxine (vitamin B-6), riboflavin, and thiamin (vitamin B-1). These vitamins are essential in the sense that body requires them from external sources to replenish and play a vital role in metabolism.
Fresh papaya also contains a good amount of potassium (257 mg per 100 g) and calcium. Potassium is an important component of cell and body fluids and helps controlling heart rate and blood pressure countering effects of sodium.

Health Benefits Of Linseed Oil

Health Benefits of Linseed Oil

Linseed oil, also known as flaxseed oil, is made from the seeds of the flax plant. The oil contains substances which promote good health. Linseed and linseed oil are rich in alpha-linolenic acid (ALA), an essential fatty acid that appears to be beneficial for heart disease. ALA belongs to a group of substances called omega-3 fatty acids.
Linseed Oil Benefits and Uses
Specifically, linseed may help to:
1. Lower cholesterol, protect against heart disease and control high blood pressure:
Several studies indicate that linseed oil, as well as ground linseeds, can lower cholesterol, thereby significantly reducing the risk of heart disease. Taking linseed oil may also protect against angina (chest pain) and high blood pressure. In addition, a five-year study done recently at Boston's Simmons College found that linseed oil may be useful in preventing a second heart attack. It may also help prevent elevated blood pressure by inhibiting inflammatory reactions that cause artery-hardening plaque and poor circulation.
2. Counter inflammation associated with gout, lupus and fibrocystic breasts:
Omega-3 fatty acids appear to limit the inflammatory reaction associated with these conditions. In cases of lupus, linseed oil not only reduces inflammation in the joints, skin and kidneys, but also lowers cholesterol levels that may be elevated by the disease. Taking linseed oil for gout may lessen the often sudden and severe joint pain or swelling that is a symptom of this condition. In addition, the ability of omega-3 fatty acids to boost the absorption of iodine (a mineral often found in low levels in women suffering from fibrocystic breasts) makes linseed oil potentially valuable for treating this often painful condition.
3. Control constipation, haemorrhoids, diverticular disorders and gallstones:
As they are high in dietary fibre, ground linseeds can help ease the passage of stools and thus relieve constipation, haemorrhoids and diverticular disease. In those with diverticular disease, linseeds may also keep intestinal pouches free of waste and thus keep potential infection at bay. Taken for inflammatory bowel disease, linseed oil can help to calm inflammation and repair any intestinal tract damage. In addition, the oil may prevent painful gallstones from developing and even dissolve existing stones.
4. Treat acne, eczema, psoriasis, sunburn and rosacea:
The essential fatty acids in linseed oil are largely responsible for its skin-healing powers. Red, itchy patches of eczema, psoriasis and rosacea often respond to the EFA's anti-inflammatory actions and overall skin-soothing properties. Sunburned skin may heal faster when treated with the oil as well. In cases of acne, the EFAs encourage thinning of the oily sebum that clogs pores.
5. Promote healthy hair and nails:
The abundant omega-3 fatty acids in linseed oil have been shown to contribute to healthy hair growth (in fact, low levels of these acids may cause dry and lackluster locks). Hair problems exacerbated by psoriasis or eczema of the scalp may respond to the skin-revitalizing and anti-inflammatory actions of linseed oil as well. Similarly, the oil's EFAs work to nourish dry or brittle nails, stopping them from cracking or splitting.
6. Minimise nerve damage that causes numbness and tingling as well as other disorders:
The EFAs in linseed oil assist in the transmission of nerve impulses, making the oil potentially valuable in treating conditions of numbness and tingling. The oil's nerve-nourishing actions may also help in the treatment of Parkinson's disease, a degenerative disorder of the nervous system, and protect against the nerve damage associated with diabetes and multiple sclerosis.
6. Reduce cancer risk and guard against the effects of ageing:
The lignans in linseed appear to play a role in protecting against breast, colon, prostate, and perhaps skin cancer. Although further studies are needed, research undertaken at the University of Toronto indicates that women with breast cancer, regardless of the degree of cancer invasiveness, may benefit from treatment with linseed. Interestingly, the lignans may protect against various effects of ageing as well.
8. Treat menopausal symptoms, menstrual cramps, female infertility and endometriosis:
Because the hormone-balancing lignans and plant estrogens (phytoestrogens) in linseed help stabilise a woman's estrogen-progesterone ratio, they can have beneficial effects on the menstrual cycle, and relieve the hot flashes of perimenopause and menopause. linseed may also improve uterine function and thus treat fertility problems. In addition, the essential fatty acids in linseed have been shown to block production of prostaglandins, hormonelike substances that, when released in excess amounts during menstruation, can cause the heavy bleeding associated with endometriosis.
9. Fight prostate problems, male infertility and impotence:
The EFAs in linseed oil may help to prevent swelling and inflammation of the prostate, the small gland located below the bladder in males that tends to enlarge with age. Symptoms of such enlargement, such as urgency to urinate, may lessen as a result. The EFAs also play a role in keeping sperm healthy, which may be of value in treating male infertility, and they can improve blood flow to the penis, a boon for those suffering from impotence .Unani Home Remedies's photo.

How can Increase your Sperm Count ?

                                             Sperm: How can Increase it?

Inadequate sperm production and quality is one of the most common reasons for male infertility as it decreases the odds of one of the sperms fertilizing the egg for conception.
According to the World Health Organization, the normal concentration of sperm is at least 20 million per ml of semen. Fewer than 15 million sperm per ml is considered a low sperm count, also called oligozoospermia. Conception problems are associated with fewer than 40 million moving sperm in the ejaculate.
Oligoospermia can happen due to a wide variety of reasons and contributing factors like hormonal abnormalities, infected semen, infection in the prostate gland, varicoceles (enlargement of veins within the scrotum), damaged sperm ducts, use of anabolic steroids, cigarette smoking, alcohol abuse, drug abuse, toxic chemicals, certain medications, heavy metal exposure and radiation. Even vaginal lubricants tend to be toxic to sperm.
Recent studies indicate that heating of the testicles due to electromagnetic frequencies (EMFs) may also contribute to low sperm count. Thus, habits like keeping a laptop on your lap and a cell phone in your pants pocket are often discouraged.
Various natural remedies and other tips can help increase your sperm count and also improve sperm quality.
home remedies to increase sperm count
Here are the top 10 home remedies to increase sperm count.
1. Maca Root
Maca root of the black variety can help improve sperm production and motility. It is a popular fertility herb that helps balance the hormones.
Take 1 to 3 teaspoons of maca root in 2 divided doses for a few months daily. You can add it to a glass of water, a healthy smoothie or protein shake, or just sprinkle it on cereal. As maca root is high in fiber, start by taking ½ teaspoon and gradually increase the dosage over a few weeks.
2. Ashwagandha
A 2013 pilot study by Indian researchers, published in Evidence-Based Complementary and Alternative Medicine, found that ashwagandha root extract can significantly increase sperm count, semen volume and sperm motility. The study participants were given 675 mg of ashwagandha root extract in 3 divided doses, daily for 90 days.
Plus, this herb promotes healthy testosterone production. It also improves your overall health, increases vitality and reduces stress and anxiety.
Mix ½ teaspoon of ashwagandha powder, also known as Indian ginseng, in a glass of warm milk. Drink it twice daily for a few months.
Another option is to take ashwagandha root extract. Consult your doctor for proper dosage.
3. Panax Ginseng
Panax ginseng, also known as Korean ginseng, is commonly used in traditional Chinese medicine to help the body adapt to stress. It also can be used to increase testosterone, and sperm count and motility to enhance male fertility. Panax ginseng can help improve erectile performance as well.
Take 1 to 3 capsules of 500 mg Panax ginseng daily for at least 3 months. Consult your doctor before starting this or any other supplement regimen.
4. Garlic
Garlic acts as a natural aphrodisiac and increases sperm production. It contains a compound called allicin, which boosts the endurance of the sperm and also improves blood circulation. Plus, the mineral selenium in garlic helps improve sperm motility.
Simply include 1 or 2 crushed garlic cloves in your daily diet.
5. Tribulus
Tribulus terrestris, also known as gokshura, is an Ayurvedic remedy to increase sperm count and improve sperm quality as it can enhance hormone levels. A 2012 study by Indian researchers also found this aphrodisiac herb to be helpful in treating oligozoospermia (low sperm count).
Take 1 to 3 capsules of 500 mg Tribulus terrestris daily for a few months, but only after consulting your doctor.
6. Moderate Exercise
Studies have found that moderate exercise can help boost healthy sperm production. In fact, a 2013 study published online in the British Journal of Sports Medicine indicates that the increase in sedentary lifestyle among young men has lead to a decline in the overall quality of semen.
The study found that young men who lived a sedentary lifestyle and watched more than 20 hours of television a week had a 50% lower sperm count compared to those who did not watch much TV.
On the other hand, those who engaged in at least 15 hours of moderate exercise a week had better sperm quality and 73% higher sperm count than those who engaged in little or no exercise.
To increase your sperm count, do some type of physical exercise for at least 1 hour a day on a regular basis. Outdoor physical activities (except cycling) as well as weight training are also beneficial.
Note: Avoid overexertion as it can lead to a decrease in sperm count. Cycling, too, is not recommended as it can place pressure against the scrotum and increase scrotum temperature.

How Can Determine own or Freinds Temperament ?

Signs of temperament

  1. Malmas (feel by teaching)
The signs which assist in the diagnosis of temperament are given under the following ten headings:

The temperament of a person in diagnosed by comparing the feel of his body with that of a normal person under equable climatic and atmospheric conditions. If feel is the same in both cases the temperament is balanced it may, however, be relatively hat or cold. Whose some person of balanced temperament finds that the feel of another's is hat or cold hard or soft, smooth or rough as against his own the temperament of the other person is like to be abnormal provided there is nothing to roughen or soften the body such as atmospheric changes and baths. Some times the softness, roughness and dryness of finger nails help to reveal the temperament provided it has not resulted from some extraneous cause.

The conclusim drawn from a soft or hard feel defend upon the proper balance of heat and cold (in the body) because excess of heat after dispersing the moisture make the body soft and moist even hen it was originally hard. Cold makes the normal or even soft body hard as in the ease of ice and solid fasts. This may cause some confusion persons of cold temperament, generally feel soft even though they are this and weal. This is an account of the excess of immature humors.

2.Muscularity and Adiposity

A good muscular development indicates greater neat and moisture in the body. In such cases the body feel find and solid to touch poor muscular development and deficiency of fat indicate dryness. Excess of fat and oiliness (of skin) point to the cold temperament. In such case the body feels soft and flabby. If veins are narrow, there is anemia and hunger produces early weakness and fatigue-from deficiency of pure blood.

Which provides nutrition the temperament is likely to be innately and naturally cold. When, however, there signs are not absent the cold temperament is likely to have been acquired and thus of a temperament nature Deficiency of both solid and liquid fat indicates a hat temperament the material in both types of fat is derived from the oily contents of blood while the deposits of fat is caused by the prevailing cold this is the reason for the relatively less deposit of fat or the liver then or the intestines the heat has a larger amounts of fat net because of its shape and temperament but because of:
  1. Excessive fat in the body &
  2. The inherent attraction of the heart for fat.

The deficiency or excess of fat in the body, however, depends upone the excess or deficiently of the body is muscular but not fatty the temperament is likely to be hat and moist. If a long with the museles a moderate amount of fat in also present it denotes heat with an excess of moisture in the body. When both solid and liquid fats are abundant there is excess of cold and moisture in the body and thus a cold and most temperament.

Heat and moisture when present are known from other signs with will be described later lohess heat and dryness are present together, the hair becomes thick and profuse and grows more rapidly. This is because rapid growth results from excess of heat while thickness from excess of smoke (metabolic products) hence adult's hair is coarse but of children of is fine because they have less smokiness and more moisture. This and scanty hair is a sign of the cold and moist temperament.

Over active and exaggerated functions, such as rapid growth and movements, indicate excess of heat eg. Rapid development of organs, growth of hair and quick eruptions of teeth. Weakness and sluggish mass of functions is a sign of cold temperament. A hot temperament can also produce wcak and sluggish movements but in that case disturbance of physical functions is generally. The result of associated weakness. Several physiological functions are lost or impaired by heat eg. loss or reduction of sleep. On the other hand some physiological activities are increased by cold eg. steep sleep is however, not absolutely and independently physiological but is necessary. It is not for its own sake but because it gives the vital force rest from exhausting activities. Sleep enables the vital force to devote its undivided attention to digestion. This is not possible in wakefulness which is inverse activities. It is thus clear that sleep is indispensable and thus natural. A phenomenon which is indispensable is natural by virtue of necessity.

Functions are reliable indication of temperaments of temperament when these are normal and healthy the temperament is balanced. Entrances of hat, cold, dry, and most temperament for the functional state of organs are however, a rough guide. Functions which point to heat are blood and powerful voice, continuous and rapid speech, shert temper, brisk movements and frequent blinking. The are signs not only of general heat in the body but also of heat in the corresponding organs.
